Did you guys like the show? I thought Ricky Gervais was unusually tame. I didn't see many of the movies that were up for Best Picture either (which I most definitely have to do before the Oscars) so my heart wasn't really into any particular category. I was really excited that Modern Family won but my 2 dissapointments of the night: Leo not winning (again) nor Rooney Mara (the Girl with the Dragon tattoo).

I felt the same. I feel like this awards show (maybe it being one of the first [if not the first] of the season had something to do with it) was really really tame and the fashion (for me) was really boring. Nothing really wowed me, although I did have a few dresses that I enjoyed!

I didn't watch the show but I creeped on red carpet pics all evening. I loved Salma Hayek, Zooey Deschanel, and Kate Beckinsale. Emma Stone was probably my favorite of the evening!
I did my take too - I'm with you on many of yours. Although Charlize just didn't do it for me this year; same with Emma. I didn't see Heidi Klum till now - love her!
And poor, poor Leo. Every time. At least he keeps showing up so we can look at him.
AGGHH! You were reading my mind! I changed the channel as soon as I found out RG was not in attendance and they kept panning the camera to Angelina's pompous smirk...I did see Morgan Freeman's speech later. He melts my heart.
Oh my goodness!!! I could not agree more. Angelina is two faced. I love all yet dresses you picked, except for Angelina haha jk I just can't stand her. What was up with Ryan Gosling not being there!?
Ricky was really tame compared to last year. I thought for sure he was going to go bigger but I guess he didnt want to piss anyone off. And yeah whats with Leo never winning!?! He is brilliant...and crazy handsome..but insanely brilliant...and yeah really handsome..
I had the same disappointments, including Ryan Gosling not being there. But seriously, Leo is snubbed every.single.time. So frustrating!
My favorite look of the night was REESE!! She was stunning with her beach hair and classy-glam red dress!
